Terms of use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms apply to the website, the waitlist, the square (the shared space where players meet) and, once it opens, the game, together "the service". By connecting a wallet, joining the waitlist or using the service in any other way, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The game itself is not open yet. When it opens, it may come with further terms for keys, passes, rewards and payments, which we will publish here before they apply.
2. Who may use the service
- You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age where you live if that is higher.
- You may not use the service if you live in, are located in or are a resident of a country or region that is subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on a sanctions list, or if using the service would break the laws that apply to you.
- One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold, shared or run by software.
3. Your wallet and your account
Your account is your wallet. Signing in asks your wallet to sign a short message that names this site; it never moves funds and never costs anything. We never ask for your recovery phrase, private key or any code, and we never message you first. Anyone who does is not us.
You are responsible for your wallet and everything signed with it. We cannot recover a lost wallet, reverse a transaction on a blockchain or restore access to an account whose wallet you no longer control.
4. The waitlist and the draw
- Joining the waitlist is free. No purchase is needed to join or to win.
- To join you connect a wallet and complete the listed tasks on X, giving a link for each. Each wallet and each X account may join once.
- When the list closes, 30 deed rights for Wanderhold are drawn among everyone on it, one per entry. A deed right is a place in the Wanderhold land sale: the right to buy one plot at the listed price during the listed sale. It is not a free plot and has no cash value.
- The draw can be checked by anyone. When the list closes we publish the full list (each entry's number, wallet address and X account name) with its fingerprint, and the draw uses the hash of a blockchain block that did not exist yet when the list closed and that we name in advance.
- Before rights are given out we check the winning entries. Entries that used bots, more than one account per person, someone else's X account, or tasks that were not actually done are removed, and the next entries in the same drawn order take their place; the whole order is published with the reasons for anything removed.
- If someone has put your X account on the list before you, write to us from that account. An entry whose reply on X does not carry its own wallet's code is taken off the list, and you can then join.
- We may change the number of rights, the tasks or the dates of the waitlist before the list closes. Changes will be shown on the waitlist page.
5. The square and what you say there
Be decent. Do not post links, wallet addresses, offers, scams, hate, harassment or anything illegal, and do not pretend to be us or anyone else. Names that look official are not allowed. We may hide messages, mute or remove anyone who breaks these rules, without notice.
6. Fair play
Do not use bots, scripts or automation, do not exploit bugs, and do not attack, overload or try to get around the limits of the service. If you find a bug, tell us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and remove what was gained by doing so.
7. Collections, rewards and what may change
Values, rewards and mechanics described on this site are part of a game that is still being built, and they may change. Nothing on this site is financial, investment or legal advice, and nothing here is an offer of securities. Digital collectibles and tokens can lose all of their value, and blockchain networks can fail, be slow or be expensive to use. Take part only with what you can afford to lose.
8. Your data
We collect as little as the service needs:
- Your wallet address, to know who you are when you sign in, and the name you choose for the square.
- Your X account name and the links you give when you join the waitlist, to check the draw.
- What you write on the square, kept for up to 14 days so abuse can be looked into, then deleted. Our encrypted backups of the service hold a copy for up to 35 days more.
- Technical data such as your IP address and browser details, used only to keep the service running and to stop abuse. It passes through our network and security provider, Cloudflare, and our hosting provider. We do not use it to track you and we do not sell it.
- What your browser keeps: your sign-in, your settings and your language are stored in your own browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Wallet addresses and anything done on a blockchain are public by nature and cannot be deleted by us. Waitlist entries are kept until the draw is settled and the land sale is over. You may ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, by writing to the address below.
9. No warranty
The service is provided as it is and as it is available. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for losses caused by wallets, blockchains or third parties, or for losses from interruptions of the service.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; when the changes matter, we will ask you to agree again before you carry on. Questions, requests about your data or reports of a bug or abuse: support@wanderforest.com.
